My husband and I recently tried Lover’s Wings in Kansas City, MO, and overall we had a really good experience. As soon as we walked in, the place felt like home — warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Even my husband said it felt like being at home. The staff was super sweet and polite, and anytime we asked for something ... (extra sauce, a cup, ice, utensils, napkins), they were more than happy to help and made sure everything was right. We ordered a 12-piece wing combo with fries, ranch, and honey mustard. We got half plain crispy fried wings and the other half in the sweet and spicy chili sauce. The wings were good — crispy, well cooked, and flavorful. The sweet and spicy chili sauce had a nice kick without overpowering the chicken. The presentation was really nice, and the packaging was neat and put together with care. There was about a 20-minute wait, but they were upfront about it and explained that the wings take about 15 minutes to prepare, plus they had orders ahead of ours, so it was understandable.
